I have lived in apartments for the past 20 years and I never felt like I was home until Whitman Green. From the start I was welcomed and taken care of by Yareli who gave me a tour and communicated with me during the move in process. Her great attitude and happiness was delightful! Then I met Freddy who helped me on a few different work orders but also went above and beyond with extra requests he voluntarily offered! When Oscar came on board it seemed everything got even better! His genuine care… and warmth instilled confidence that the property was in good hands. The grounds are very well kept, green lush landscaping paired with lovely mature redwood trees. The gated parking and strict permits kept the property safe. I rarely heard my upstairs or side neighbors. The layouts are thoughtfully planned out with bedrooms towards the back away from the street. The laundry rooms are clean and use your atm card, no quarters or adding money to laundry cards yay! Work orders were addressed and completely within a day or two. The best part is the rent! Fair prices for a nice new gym, pool, rose garden and lush safe walkable grounds and rent controlled. My lease renewed with no increase, that is unheard of in the bay. I knew I was going to live here for a long time because I had finally found a special place. However a turn of events I found a home to buy in a neighboring town days after renewing my lease. I worked with Oscar to change to month to month and he helped me begin the move out process. He was transparent in all the move out checklist items and I received a more than fair deposit amount back.
