Jacuzzi Never Gets Fixed - Poor Communication! I need to use the jacuzzi for physical therapy purposes followg a bad car accident. I need the jacuzzi to help me to progress in my healing. First, they forgot to turn the pool lights on so huge water roaches covered the pool and jacuzzi area. I filed a maintenance request.
Then two weeks ago, the jacuzzi jets were not working andd I filed a maintenace request along with 4 other requests that were submitted by or concierges. I received e-mails... stating that the maintenance request was completed and seeking my positive feedback. I do not typically write negative reviews.
I went down to the jacuzzi at the end of last week and it had not been fixed. I filed another maintenance request. The Concierges told me it had been fixed, but I was skeptical. Then I received another e-mail stating that my maintenance request had been fulfilled and seeking my positive feedback. My lease is soon to come up for renewal and I am bombarded with pressure to sign the increased lease amount, but this issue does not get addressed.
So, tonight I went down there again only to find out that it remains broken. Nothing has been done. It is one thing if it isn't repaired, but another thing to continually to e-mail me saying it is AND wanting me to submit a positive review. I am thankful that I can go over to Central Park West to jacuzzi given that I cannot trust the communication amongst the staff. Rudy is the head of Maintenance and he would KNOW that it was never fixed. I don't know who is responsible for the e-mails being sent to me, but they are not at all based upon reality. Rudy is great, but somehow someone either in Maintainance to in Administration is not finding out what is TRUE and real. These are major problems when communication fails and the right hand has no idea about what is going on. Frustrating! Just like when I moved into another unit and it was considered to be, "clean," but was horrifically dirty. There is no one who actually checked it out, did a quality control run through, but our Manager did make reparations to me for that. Careless communication breeds distrust and creates a crazy-making environment. I notified administration to back off of pressuring me about the lease renewal and attend to the darn jacuzzi;. Apparently now the vendor is going to be called out to fix it since it has not worked for several weeks (despite being repeatedly told that it had. Negative experience all around p

We are truly sorry to hear about the issue you've had with our jacuzzi and understand how this impacts your healing process. The pool amenities are currently undergoing updates, however the other 2 pools and jacuzzi are available for use in the... meantime. You have been incredibly patient in this stressful situation, and we apologize for any miscommunication regarding the completion of maintenance requests. Rudy is indeed an invaluable asset to our team, however it appears there might be gaps in communication between various departments. We're taking immediate steps to address and rectify this issue. Your lease renewal pressure was not intended, rather we aiming to keep all residents informed of upcoming changes in their residency status.
