Experience thus far

Being at Next on Sixth, you can walk to restaurants without paying valet or spending time finding street parking and good walking distance to stores (nearest H Mart, Walgreens). On top of that, there is target below but does not carry a lot compared to bigger targets. They also got your Starbies (no order ahead option unfortunately). This apartment is overall good from my experience thus far. Security, your concierge is friendly, helpful, and addresses your calls on any concerns; for example,... homeless entered in and he shoo shoo them away. He makes his rounds and makes sure residents are warned several minutes before 10 that the pool/jacuzzi is closing. The only 2 negative things I have is (1) they don’t have storage closet.. unless it’s just mines? But no storage closet except for regular walk-in closet. (2) hallway carpets have stains. Hopefully they’ll deep clean one day or replace. Other positive remarks: nice open airy gym, amenities are good, hangout areas, secured package lockers, fob key to get you up and down the elevator so you don’t have non-residents trying to come up except if you got ubereats then security will allow, dog lawn to pee/poo (can be smelly), reserved parking, and much more but this comment has been lengthy.

Not safe, not comfortable, overpriced

From advantages - there are nice common areas in the building but they all close at 10 pm.
The renewal terms were overpriced to me as for current resident although the market rates advertised on the website were much lower. No way to negotiate a lower price. The management doesn’t care.
There is no assigned parking. The trash and water are not included in the rent price.
The additional fees include mandatory internet of $85 a month, parking depends, around $75-$150 a month, utilities around...
$100-200 a month.
No sun in the pool.
Cold pool.
No safety in the building.
Also the neighbourhood is not safe.
The assigned public schools are very bad.
I don’t recommend this building.

rent price

I moved in right before equity took over. I was paying for a luxury experience, however with new management.. there were major security staff cuts and amenities taken away. I’m still paying the rent price of a luxury apt complex. New listings for my same unit is much lower... terrible way of doing business.
