Disappointing experience — beware of their payment practices
I've had a frustrating time with The Parker. After paying my rent in full, they applied a portion of it to miscellaneous fees without clearly notifying me. I didn't catch it until the following month, by which point they had restricted my account from making online payments entirely. Now I'm forced to obtain a cashier's check from my bank just to pay rent — a major inconvenience when a simple portal payment used to work fine.
What bothers me most is the lack of communication. Instead of sending... a courtesy email letting tenants know a balance is outstanding or a payment is late, they taped an eviction notice to my door the very morning the rent was considered late. No warning, no grace, no attempt to resolve it like reasonable people.
The whole approach feels designed to penalize tenants rather than work with them. The customer service has been inflexible and dismissive throughout. I expected far better, and I'd caution anyone considering this property to think twice about how they handle billing and communication.
