The elevator in my building and/ or the connecting building or down for months last month and this year. The federal interest rate was at 3.5% when I renewed my lease this year. However, my rent still went up more than 4%. I was OK with things the way they were should my rent remain the same given the inconvenience. Yet it was raised well above the interest rate.

However, I still have unresolved maintenance concerns. After my patio/back glass door was damaged and repaired following a police report, the exterior frame was never fully restored and still looks unfinished compared to other units.
I also reported black discoloration around the bathroom tile and was told a vendor would inspect it, but I have not received any update.
These issues were reported during my tenancy, and I want them documented and addressed so they are not attributed to me at... move-out.
