The Winsted at Sunset West

I have lived here for 11 years. The staff here is amazing. They make it feel like home in the maintenance department especially Manuel. Is a magician. how he accomplishes everything with such perfection and always that beautiful smile and always takes the time to greet you and say hello if he sees you going bye it is a beautiful community wonderful staff neighbors, and the upkeep here is just amazing. You would think it was a gated community. Carol.

We live here just for 4 months and we appreciate our God for helping us to find it. Our unit is 2bd, 2 bth. The floor plan is wonderful and everyone who visit us are surprised how nice is it.

Constant break-ins. Unbeknownst to us prior to moving in, there are constant break-ins at this community and it makes us feel extremely unsafe. We saw the 3 and 4 star reviews and for an apartment community that's actually a good sign. Being in the middle of a residential neighborhood we also felt this would be safer community to move to with our infant, however that is much the opposite. The company will not put cameras up or hire security even though the mail boxes continue to get broken… into, more times than I can count in the last 6 months. The garages continue to get broken into. After several mailbox break-ins, a gate was put up at the mail boxes and somehow they were still broken into one night when the gate was mysteriously left open even though the gate closes automatically. We only recently obtained a garage and it was broken into after we obtained it which leads me to believe it is a resident or someone who a resident knows or someone an employee knows or an employee. I have filed a police report which is unfortunate to have to have to add to Rocklin's crime map since people live in this town for a safer environment. The police officer let me know that she visits for constant garage break-ins and does not know why we don't have security or cameras up. She was shocked that even after a gate was put up at the mailboxes that they were still broken into. Now we have to consider getting a PO Box and paying just to feel safer and storing our items elsewhere just to feel safer where we live. Read More

My boyfriend and I moved in last December and it was the perfect upgrade that we needed. Large living room that fit our 8 ft couch, big bright windows that brought in lots of natural light, spacious master with a walk in and a bonus "man den". It has worked out great for us especially having in-unit laundry where we had to go to the laundry mat before! The location of our apartment was essential as well. We were in a nice secluded corner where we felt we had privacy when living around so many… people. Big open grass area and fields across the street were we were able to take our dog to run and play! We are coming up on the end of our lease so we are looking to upgrade to a bigger place but it has been a good stepping stone for us! Read More
