Woodstream Townhomes

The AC does not work in these townhomes and management refuses to fix it. It costs $1,000 per month to keep it at 85 degrees, so most people here don't use AC. They are critical over what you put in front of your rental, but don't fix running toilets, leaky faucets, broken screen, paint pealing off the walls, cracks in the walls (near the structural frame), ect. The carpet has not been replaced since the 90s, and neither has the AC. I think the positive ratings are from the property management… (conflict of interest), all the people I have talked to here are displeased with the property and are moving when their lease is up (including me!). HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EVERYTHING! New Owners! 22yr old manager has no clue about contracts. Can't even believe she's a manager. She needs to go back to school! She acts like she will take care of things then you walk out the door and never here from anyone else in the office. I have had crap broken in my townhome since I moved in and no one will come fix it. Yes work orders have been placed. I have talked to several neighbors and they all are dealing with the same issues and they think the same I do… . That's why they are moving out as well. Insurance is a total joke that they provide. The staging is just to get people moved in. They don't tell you about all the extra cost. I can not wait to be out of this crap hole!!! Rent is going up and all the extra expenses they charge and don't even tell you. All this place wants is money and they don't care what happens to you or your stuff. NO SECURITY 24/7 either! Very hard to find a parking spot near your unit. I'm sure they are living on the property rent free so they could care less about anyone. I must say ONE good thing I love the Maintenance guy George. George is very nice and helpful. Now the maintenance supervisor is a total deuce bag. Thinks he's cool and is a total idiot. No respect for anyone. I never see him working. Also at night they turn the lights off near the main entrance by the dog park, basketball court, and pool because (this is what I heard) because the maintenance Supervisors window is near the lights. So instead of him not buying a blacked out curtain he turns all the lights out so the light doesn't come in his room! It is very unsafe at night Because all those lights out. I'm always having to watch our stuff 24/7. Can't leave the garage open and walk inside. Someone might grab your stuff and run. That's anytime during the day and night. I HIGHLY SUGGEST DO NOT RENT FROM WOODSTREAM TOWNHOMES! Once you move in they totally screw you. Also all of the AC units are as old as the townhomes. Very insufficient! Now they will see this review and add a few AC units in the model units so it will look like they have great AC units. Please don't let them pull you in by what they say is a deal. The Woodstream Townhomes is a very nice place to live. Quiet neighborhood and nearby elementary school, bike trail, close freeway access, near Roseville Galleria Mall and lots of other shopping. Well kept Community.
