Vue at the Lake Apartments

I moved into the apartment in December with the holiday Hussle and bustle in full swing. The staff explained the process completely and made everything easy and smooth. Anything that I noticed during move in was addressed immediately. I'm all settled in and very happy with my decision!

This is a lovely property, everything is clean and the price is reasonable as well. I went in for a tour and Sean walked me through a few of the units. He answered all my questions and he was very knowledgeable.

My only reason for not renting here is because I prefer a full size washer and dryer. These units have a very small one. So it was a preference of convenience for me. Otherwise, everything looked great! Staff was very helpful!

Every request we have submitted has been taken care of promptly. We have felt safe here from day one and love the lake as a peaceful place to relax

We've lived here since 2015 and back then this complex was the place to be due to it's location. Changed property management at least 3 times and recently PRIME has taken over bought the complex. They are not any better but worse. The first month PRIME leasing staff was very responsive ... all show. Now into the second month and I'm getting crickets (sent 2 or 3 emails and a voicemail). Entry gate is wide open all day everyday (should be closed at night). At least when FPI still managed... this place, maintenance was responsive and "some" leasing staff were okay. There was always grounds keepers working. Now the grass in our area is overgrown, sidewalks are littered with leaves, trees and bushes are untrimmed. So the complex looks nothing like their website. The only place that may look neat is the pool and fire pit are and the dog park all located around the leasing office. Make sure you come for a visit and you'll see.
Their Active-Building app is also not working. It's an app where you can pay your rent and utilities as well as send messages and posts events, for sale items, etc. The first month they were here, the app was not including the utilities. They fixed it but it's the same again for this month. There is a private lake that supposedly only residents can access BUT there are people who come and fish in the lake and I'm not sure if they are residents or not. We've had homeless people living in their cars park inside the complex as well. Beware, be wise and be cautious if you're thinking of renting here. I stay in a 1 bed 1 bath and they failed to disclose that NONE of the utilities are included in rent. Vue uses a "valet trash" service where they come to your door and pick up trash at an extra cost of $35month on top of your normal trash cost which is $5 or $10! Not one time have I seen them in the course of 3 months pick up my trash. I feel like it's just a way to scam people a few extra dollars..
