Sepulveda Palms Apartments

I just had to post a quick review.I live here and I love it.We have a wonderful community.We have Bbq's and we are all Super friendly.We have a Beautifully kept pool and bbq grills.We have Laundry facilities and safe carports.I had to post this after seeing the negative reviews which are obviously by evicted tenants.As you can read,Us thatlive here Love here.Thank you.

We may not be in the best part of town, but it's certainly not the worst. This apartment complex is kept safe by our manager enforcing strict but necessary rules, and all of us tenants looking out for each other. We have regular pest control services to PREVENT bugs, and despite some hilarious rumors, there are no rats in the apartments either.

I have lived at this building for 8 yrs and find that the Manager is very professional and knowledgeable. I have seen many managers come and go, and I have to say, the one that has been here almost 4 years has been by far the best this property has ever had. This building use to be drug infested with fights and strangers running in and out of our building, cars and apartments being broken into just about every night. I live here with my daughter and for the first time in many years, we feel... completely safe. The manager is strict and does not allow drugs or people hanging out, or dirty nasty people. Those of you that are writing these negative comments, you most likely were evicted because of illegal activities and your nastiness. We're glad you are gone. Manager is extremely unprofessional, never on time for appointments she makes with you. She'll cancel or show up late then blame you for missing the appointment (happened to me multiple times) Tries to milk tenants for all of their money. Charges for the smallest of maintenance fees that should be included in rent. Did not receive my full deposit after moving, though it looked almost better moving out than moving in.
Apartment has roach problems inside and out, I sprayed my apartment monthly to... keep them out.
Manager is way to into tenants personal business as opposed to doing her job and maintaining the complex. Manager gossips and spreads rumors about tenants.
Bath tubs and sinks were painted to cover dirt and hair instead of getting everything redone. Tiling in the bathroom and kitchen we not done properly, in between the tiles would crack up pull up. Bath tub and sinks had paint chipping.

When we moved in there was roaches everywhere and the carpet was dirty and had a smell to it. We had no where to go so we just moved in. Couple months later they're blaming the smell on our cats and the roaches on us. When they came in to get rid of the roaches I will say our house was a little dirty but that was because we were in the middle of deep spring cleaning and trying to get the roaches off our stuff. After that the manger said we were at risk of losing our home when she didn't even get... the full story. So we agreed to let them come and inspect our place. The manger came twice to look at out house saying it looked fine. She said she would come again some other time. When she finally made a date to come we waited and she was a no show. This has happen three or four times. My daughter had to miss school because she was waiting for her. She says she is busy but my daughter says she sees her outside playing with her dog which by the way poops all over the yard and is on a leash but no one holding it. She say that only my family and the ones downstairs are causing the roaches but when we bombed ourselves we found out the people living near us is having the same problem. The manger is saying it's only us and no one else is having problems with roaches. And an other thing the manger said that these apartments have lead in the paint of the walls so if the walls were peeling off to let her know. But when she was doing these inspections she told us to peel off the paint in order to clean. My daughter has asthma but she is able to breath alright until she was peeling the paint off like the manger said. My daughter is now having trouble breathing and has chest pains.
