I am terminating my lease early, and here is why:
We moved in right before the property was transferred from Greystar to liveamc, and ended up in a confusing mess that resulted in us not having access to a copy of our lease for weeks! This made it so we couldn’t get our mailbox from USPS, and not having access to my partners medication which was mailed.
We went to the office to ask for the lease and would get different answers repeatedly until they finally gave us a copy weeks after we moved in, which wasn’t even the full copy with all our... signatures. In the end, we only got our full lease copy with executed signatures after we asked to terminate our lease. Looks like they had it conveniently after all. Great job liveamc, I’m glad you guys are charging us 2 months lease termination fee even after my partner wasn’t able to get her MEDICATION from the mailbox FOR WEEKS due to the management’s failures.
And the issues don’t just stop there. We got a parking spot right next to the fence of the gate, which had reduced space which made it very hard to get out due to our larger suv. We requested management multiple times to change, and of course, nothing happened. In fact one time they told me to move my car to one of the empty spots, and I blindingly followed their instructions. Guess what? My car was almost towed! I had to tell security who was trying to tow my car that management told me to move the car, which they lied by saying they never said anything to me and even tried blaming me for.
You thought that’s it? The floors of our apartment are messed up, which we alerted to management in the beginning of our lease, but it took until I contacted the regional manager to actually get a response.. 2-3 months later. And despite the regional manager saying they will do something, no one has done anything still
Oh and I hope you don’t mind cockroaches by the way, or the fact that the garage door to the supposed safe community is always open in some units, and no one bothers to fix them.
These issues all happened in the span of 3 months, so I can’t imagine living at this property any longer.
