I’ve had a great experience living at One55 The Lofts at Albert Park in San Rafael. The building and units are well maintained, and the overall condition reflects the care the property team puts into upkeep. Neighbors are respectful of the property and of each other, which creates a pleasant, quiet, and friendly atmosphere.
The management and maintenance teams responsiveness and reliability is stellar. Any issues are addressed promptly, and it’s clear they take pride in keeping common areas and... apartments in solid shape. This level of care contributes a lot to the overall quality of living here.
The only drawback is the renter’s insurance requirement. The current process requires you to use the carrier options recommended. While not a deal breaker, I preferred my economical choice.
Bottom line: if you value a well-kept building, respectful neighbors, and a responsive management team, One55 The Lofts at Albert Park is a strong choice in San Rafael.

Leasing was initially frustrating due to difficulty reaching a representative and poor communication throughout the process. I was caught off guard upon move-in, as the unit differed from the one I toured. Instead of carpeting, it had uneven, poorly installed vinyl flooring. I also encountered several issues, including a cracked shower wall, a door needing replacement, damaged countertops, and poorly designed closet doors.
That said, maintenance has been excellent. The repair technician is... responsive, skilled, and has addressed all concerns promptly.
For those considering leasing from Loft55, proceed with caution. Schedule multiple tours and carefully inspect units, especially if they are not recently renovated.
Despite the initial issues, the location, cost, and quiet, friendly community are strong positives. Overall, I recommend leasing here—but allow extra time and be thorough before committing.

I am happy to share that I will be concluding my first one year lease term at the One55 Lofts at the close of February 2026. I had experienced feelings for myself of uncertainty concerning picking an apartment. I discovered my current unit at the One55 Lofts and made the decision; same day, to applyI have been happy. I have enjoyed the numerous perks of living in the downtown area of San Rafael. I have since moving adopted a Miniature Poodle. I had not accounted for our having no personal... outdoor space, i.e. a patio or balcony. I feel like I have been blessed in this past approximately 10 months of living at the One55 Lofts. I look forward to the next chapters in my life's journey with my new Miniature Poodle. Thank you One55 Lofts for being a part of my journey.
