Major Safety Concerns!!!

The electronic door locks, elevators and garage security hardware are all faulty. My front door currently doesn’t lock, people have been stuck in the elevator as it broke during use, the garage gate was just respired after a year of being left broken and open. These are just a few of the things that go ignored by management - alongside a lobby alarm that (for 2 years straight) goes off for 12 hours every Sunday alerting management that it’s not working. Homeless have been found by tenants living… in stairwells and bike closets, the property is vandalized inside and out and left that way. Preventable measures are not being maintained & management at the local and regional level do not respond to tenant emails. Leasing is fabulous though.

The retail gate has been repaired, and elevator service issues were addressed promptly by our service provider. While occasional maintenance challenges… can occur in any Santa Monica community, they are not ignored, and our team works diligently to resolve them as quickly as possible.

As with any urban community, occasional issues may arise that are beyond management's control. That said, we remain attentive, responsive, and committed to addressing concerns, maintaining the property, and providing a safe and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

We appreciate all resident feedback, as it helps us continue improving the resident experience at The Charlie Santa Monica.

Tour of The Charlie Santa Monica

We took a tour of The Charlie Santa Monica 1-2 weeks ago and it was excellent. The leasing manager, Erin M. was very professional and would highly recommend. The apartments were very new with nice kitchens and the amenities were top-notch. Multiple gym spaces, lounges, underground parking, rooftop decks, barbecues, and a hot tub. We did not have an appointment for the tour and Erin gladly showed us around on a Saturday before she had to go. We felt super welcome and she explained all the… information and answered any questions we had and it was a great experience. To Greystar/The Charlie management, please consider Erin for a promotion or raise as she goes above and beyond and does an excellent job. Thank you.
