I’ve been a resident here since April 2026. While the physical environment of the complex is great, my experience with management communication has been frustrating at times. With that said, Mikaela is both kind and responsive,

Pros: Clean and quiet. The property grounds and common areas are consistently well-maintained, and the overall living environment is peaceful and quiet.

Cons: Communication. My biggest frustration has been getting consistent responses from management. In my experience… , messages are responded to promptly when they involve payments. However, when I’ve reached out about unresolved issues or questions where there may not be a straightforward answer, I have sometimes received no response despite multiple follow-ups. This makes it difficult to get issues resolved or even understand where things stand.

Parking waitlist. One example involves the garage waitlist. When I moved in, I was told I was second on the waitlist. A month later, my position changed to fifth without any explanation. I have made repeated calls and sent messages asking for clarification over the past four months, but I have not received an explanation for the change or where things are at now.

App overload. Day-to-day living requires using multiple apps and third-party services for things such as rent payments, guest parking, package retrieval, gym equipment, and building access. While I understand that these services can be convenient, having so many separate systems creates a somewhat fragmented experience, particularly during the move-in process.

Lease term. Prior to moving in, I requested a standard 12-month lease, but the final lease agreement was for 10 months. I would have preferred clearer communication about the lease term before finalizing the agreement.

Overall this is a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to live day-to-day. My disappointment is primarily with the management experience, particularly the lack of consistent communication and follow-through when residents have questions or unresolved concerns. Good apartment but bad management Pros
- nice and new apartment
- amazing location, close to a lot of good things like the outlets, Sam’s Club, King Soopers, nice restaurants, etc. nice views of Castle Rock and mountains
- nice outdoor space, especially the area with the hammocks, fire pit
- whenever we have submitted a service request usually get helped pretty quickly
- nice yoga studio and gym, although sometimes the equipment or machines get broken and don’t get fixed

Cons
- The grills… never work, we have brought it up with the staff and management multiple times and they have yet to do anything about it. No sense of urgency.
- So many other apartments do resident events, Alana doesn’t seem to care or do any events and the ones they do they expect you to pay for food or drinks. For example they did a summer pool party which was super lame. They brought a mid food truck that was overpriced, drinks that we had to pay for. They couldn’t even do hot dogs and burgers for their residents? Buy a couple of packs of soda and water? Super unfortunate because the space is beautiful but they don’t want to invest a little bit of money to host fun resident events (which we have to pay all these fees and for amenities which a lot of times don’t even work).
- constant noise from motorcycles and cars on promenade parkway super early in the morning or super late at night. This is not fault of Alana, just what it is when you live near a busy road.
- they installed EV charging which is great but they installed half of it over the handicap spot, so you can’t even charge your car if the other spot if being used. Plus they don’t want to add an EV sign to the 2 spots which then other cars who aren’t even charging end up parking in those spots which make the EV unusable. I don’t know who designed it like this or why, but it makes no sense and again management does NOT care, even when we’ve brought it up and kindly ask if they can at least install an EV sign. Maintenence Crew They are all very efficient and amazing. Very friendly and professional as well.

Would have stayed.. I asked maintenance to fix the smell of sewage coming from the overhead bathroom access panels. Every time the A/C or heat came on it would blow the smell into the apartment. They inspected the issue and determined there was nothing, despite it still smelling. Nothing was done to resolve the issue. I found a new apartment less than a quarter mile away, but would have preferred to stay. I hope the next tenant in that unit is treated better and the issue is resolved for them.
