Our apartment has been flooded since November with water coming up through the sinks and floor, along with black mold and leaks from upstairs; we have no working sinks, dishwasher, and the dryer is broken. Management took two months to tell us we have to move and communication has been very poor the entire time. In the meantime we can’t properly cook, clean, or even trust the water, and I’ve used all my towels and even clothes to soak up the flooding—this situation has seriously affected our... well-being

I recently moved into Loretto Heights and my experience has been mixed so far. On the positive side, the units are very spacious, and the rent is relatively affordable for the Denver area, which is one of the main reasons I chose to live here. The layout of the apartment is great and offers a lot more space than many other apartments in this price range.
However, there are some significant downsides. Many of the materials and finishes in the unit feel very cheap, and things seem to break or... wear down easily. It doesn’t feel like the apartments were built or maintained with durability in mind.
Another major issue is noise from upstairs neighbors. The ceilings seem very thin, and it’s extremely easy to hear normal activity from the unit above, including walking and moving around.
My move-in experience was also disappointing because the apartment was not move-in ready. There were numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout the unit that should have been addressed before a new resident arrived. While maintenance has been helpful in addressing some of these items, it was frustrating to start a lease dealing with so many problems.
Overall, Loretto Heights has potential because of the space and price, but improvements in unit preparation, management, build quality, and sound insulation would make a big difference in the resident experience.
