If you’re considering living here, I would strongly advise against it, at least under Greystar management.
I’ve lived here for nearly two years and was among the first 20 residents when the building opened. Back then, it truly felt like a luxury community. The property was spotless, with cleaners maintaining the lobby, elevators, and hallways every morning. It even smelled like luxury. There were regular community events that were inclusive, free, and easy for everyone to attend. It felt... welcoming and well-managed.
Since Greystar took over, that experience has completely deteriorated.
Community events are now limited, overbooked within minutes, and sometimes require payment. Despite amenities being part of what residents already pay for. Being turned away or “kicked out” of events in your own building is frustrating and unacceptable.
Maintenance has been one of the biggest issues. I’ve had multiple work orders left unresolved for months, including a serious exterior water leak that caused mold, shifting floors, and water damage to baseboards and carpet. Getting updates was nearly impossible, constant runarounds about contractors and missed appointments, even when we took time off work to be available. It ultimately took filing a complaint with the city to get action.
Even when management attempted to make things right, the follow-through was poor. For example, we were promised a professional cleaning service (with the buildings partnership with Spruce) due to the disruption, but instead received an unprepared cleaner with minimal supplies who didn’t complete the job properly.
There have been repeated structural concerns as well, like sinking floors that management claimed were “normal,” despite other units not having the same issue. At one point, half our flooring had to be replaced. During repairs, we had a loud industrial dehumidifier running nonstop for 72 hours, with no check-ins or consideration for how disruptive it was.
On top of that, work orders are sometimes marked as completed without any communication or actual resolution.
Management also fails to enforce basic community rules. Despite being a non-smoking property, residents smoke and discard debris onto lower patios (ours) with no consequences. Pet policies are not enforced either, there is a persistent smell of dog waste near the main entrance, which is embarrassing when bringing guests over. Not to mention future residents.
It’s disappointing because the building itself is beautifu
