I have been unimpressed by the leasing staff and managements communication skills and the lack of follow up of promises. I do enjoy the layout of our apartment, counter space and storage in the kitchen, and size of the balcony. My wife loves the large walk in closet. We enjoy the pool and hot tub. The gym is decent, but it could include more weight machines and heavier dumbbells. There are plenty of cardio machines. The valet garbage service is a waste of money and it stinks up the halls. I feel... we should be able to opt out of it, considering most of the time I end up walking my trash to the garbage shoot. Parking is plentyful but it is unassigned, and during our initial tour was told the cost was $100 but when we got our welcome letter the cost was increased to $125. On the website they advertise beer on tap, when in reality they changed it to cold brew coffee, seltzer water and kombucha. Which is fine, even though it is disengenuise, but the taps are also never full and have been empty since we moved in. Overall Rye Sobo is an improvement from some other apartments I've lived in while in Denver but the bar is low. My main gripe is the confusion and lack of receiving my move in special credit. We were told we qualify for 1 month (4 weeks) free rent, even though on there website they advertise 6 week move in special. When I asked when I'd receive my credit the leasing office responded by saying they didn't know anything about me having a credit in my lease. After speaking on the phone with an agent they said they would honor the special and I would receive it by the end of the day. Two days later and I haven't received my credit or any communication from the leasing team.
