Avalon Cherry Hills

If I could leave less than one star, I would. Avoid this place at all costs. I know you're probably reading through the bad reviews thinking "Oh this is just one angry person who had a bad experience" no. I have multiple friends and family in this complex and everyone hates it.

Living at Avalon Cherry Hills has been the absolute worst experience of my life. From the moment I moved in, it was nothing but lies and deception. They promised me a great place to live, but what I got was a nightmare... .

Let’s start with the fees. They’ll lie through their teeth about what you’re being charged. Expect hidden fees to pop up out of nowhere, and don’t even bother asking for explanations—you’ll just get more lies.

The amenities they brag about? Always broken. The gym is a joke, the pool is constantly destroyed, and the elevators—don’t even get me started. They’re out of service more often than not, and when they do work, you’re risking your life just stepping inside.

Security here is a myth. The property is regularly broken into, and the parking garage is overrun with homeless people. I’ve seen multiple cars that have been broken into, and management does absolutely nothing about it. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I was literally threatened to be killed in the parking lot. When I reported it, management couldn’t have cared less.

In the span of three months, my apartment flooded TWICE. Water damage everywhere, and did they offer any help? Of course not. No assistance with rent, no offer to move me to another unit—nothing. It took them THREE WEEKS just to send maintenance in to dry the water up, but the mold had already started growing. I was left to deal with the mess on my own, while they continued to collect their money.

The noise here is unbearable. Sirens, cars racing, people screaming—it’s non-stop, all night long. Don’t expect to get any sleep living here. Oh! Don't forget the community wide fire alarm that goes off 2x a week for about 30 minutes at a time, usually around 11pm. The whole complex reeks of marijuana and garbage. It’s like living in a dump, surrounded by constant noise and the smell of filth.

If you value your sanity, your safety, and your health, do yourself a favor and stay as far away from Avalon Cherry Hills as possible. This place is a disaster, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Read More

Do NOT live here! Theft is rampant at this point!

Don’t recommend. Only 3 months with Bell Cherry Hills and the experience has been atrocious. Unfortunately, that’s not even being dramatic. They moved me into the incorrect unit and advertised community amenities are not legitimate. Just stay away. The apartment itself is nice, which is a bummer the rest of the experience is awful.

Really enjoy our appartment, size and layout are nice. Staff are attentive and polite. Major improvements in the community.

Bell Cherry Hills is like living in a cozy community with nice amenities. All the of the necessary stores are within 10min, and downtown Denver is only 20min away, so I still feel like I'm metro, but wo having to deal with parking and traffic. The staff are very down to earth and helpful. Thank you for providing quality living with reasonable rent.
