Glen at Lakewood Apartments

We just moved in and there are some issues to work out. But all in all, I am happy with the location and the service that we have received. Maintenance has been on top of our requests.

Management is kind and responsive, and maintenance is on top of work orders. However, the general apartment condition is dismal coming from Pittsburgh where we paid half the price for twice the quality. It's clear the painters couldn't have cared less - outlets, air vent levers, shower door track drainage holes, etc. were painted over. The apartment smelled like cigarettes when we moved in. The carpet clearly has never been replaced or professionally cleaned and there are paint drips on carpet... throughout the unit. The shower and faucet hot water temperatures exceed CO Plumbing Code (idk how it passed inspection this month, supposedly) at 160 degrees F, and there are nuisance damages/wear-and-tear (e.g. loose electrical sockets, broken toilet seat fasteners, missing shower drain cover) all over. Love it! Great area and management is super friendly and helpful. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Would love to see some changes as far as the wasps, basketball court, and hot tub.

Great location. Apartment has been updated but you can tell there's some wear and tear and age to the unit. Maintenance has done a great job at addressing issues in a timely manner.

Management and leasing agents are incredibly rude and not helpful. They do not care about your safety or wellbeing. We waited for weeks for our AC to be fixed while getting no answers from the front office. I’m beyond frustrated with the way this situation has been handled. They have hung up the phone on me, ignored phone called, disregarded emails, and even threatened eviction.
