This place has been disgusting since 1990 ! I knew it would get even worse in time, full of prostitutes and drugs .I moved out right away!

This place is absolutely horrible. Idk why they even have management they do absolutely NOTHING but send letters. They don't help with anything. Roofs leak, basements leak and smell, they NEVER fix anything right. They want their money and they charge you for everything but can't fix anything right. They talk nice when your in the office but have attitudes over the phone. They don't take any responsibility for the things not done! Ever wake up in a rush to get somewhere and only have 10 minutes to shower, come to find out there isn’t any hot water? Yup that’s my situation EVERY winter! 90% of the time through the weeks in the winter they lack to maintain the hot water heaters which is aparrently old, to small, or out of oil. I have to check back with my shower every 3 hours praying that the water will be somewhat “warm” this isn’t just a personal problem. I also reach out to neighbors in the same building or other... buildings and they seem to have the same issues. This is no place to raise children this is such and inconvenience for my family and my small children. We find our selves 3-4 times a week! Traveling across town to shower at our relatives houses because management can’t seem to get this issue right after 4 years!!! Pot wholes all over the place, garbage in random places, graffiti on dumpsters, non running cars taking up space parked in the same spots for months, this is ridiculous. Don’t believe me, see for your self, waste your time and money renting from them and then come back to this review and thank me for warning you STAY AWAY! These apartments are unsafe! I NEVER in my life had to deal with unprofessional people like the office staff here at Southwood apartments. They are very sneaky, they lie and they are extremely rude. These buildings are unsafe and if they had an inspection they would def fail. no place to raise kids at all.

Nice apartment. Upstairs and Downstairs also a basement for your washer and dryer. Heat and Hot Water are included. Maintenance is a phone call away. I enjoy living here.
