Great management! Great location!
I have lived at Countrywood at Vernon for over 20 years. It is clean, safe and affordable. And the property management is respectful of privacy rights and is very responsive to maintenance requests. They now use an app that keeps the community informed and makes requesting maintenance very easy. And if you don't like apps, they are happy to speak with you by phone!

AWESOME!
Currently at Countrywood Maitence is always on point. From the time I leave for work I see them working hard keeping the area clean, to the time I get home. Very nice landlords. Yes there's noise but nothing outta the ordinary. Great heat in the winter which is a big money saver!! Kept neat and clean for a great price!!

Nice But Noisy
These apartments are great places for families. There are a lot of children that live here and they are always out playing. Private decks on second and third floor apartments are a nice plus, as well as the entrance that leads to this. There is a pool that is shared with the condos next door.
A few negatives is that it you can hear every move the people above you make. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like people bowling when they get up to go to the kitchen. In addition to the very thin... floors, the doors leading into the building slam shut, which is very loud. Although that could be the people not being respectful, it's probably just the door. Because there are so many families with young children, there are always children running around shouting and screaming. This may be nice if you have children, but as a single woman with no desire to have children, it is an extreme annoyance.
I do enjoy living here and plan on staying. It's cheap, but nice for what you're paying. Water and heat are included which is a God send.

Pretty Nice for the Price
Countrywood at Vernon offers a modest $830/month rent for spacious one bedrooms that includes heat and hot water. Some units even have a balcony that overlook trees, tenants' gardens, and other verdure scattered throughout. There's a hiking trail behind the pool, along with a nice little lake frequented by geese. And since the complex is located on a major route, it's the ideal blend of scenic suburbia with city-like convenience. The units aren't fancy, with wall-to-wall carpet, laminate in the... kitchen/bathroom, and some outdated appliances, but it's so worth the affordability!
