Rockwood Apartments

I’ve been here for about 2 months and it’s been great. The complex is quiet (aside from the lawn mowers on Tuesday’s), pet friendly. 3 things I’m not happy about. 1. The closets. For a 2 bdrm 2 bath I have 1 hallway closet and it doesn’t have racks. So I have to keep my linen in vacuum bags until I figure out how/where to put them. The bed rooms have 2 closets each but 1 top rack like the hallway closet.
1a. The walls are cheap; Sheetrock. I have a cat and I know my neighbor below is tired of… this cat having the zoomies at 7am.
2. Community room is non existent. During the summer there’s a pool, but what are families to do during the fall/ winter months? A game room would be nice, or have a space where we can watch the games and just vibe, or possibly reserve a time to utilize the space.
3. That park needs a major overhaul. It’s like someone’s backyard set for their toddler. I’ve been taking my kids to Glasgow park down Rt 40.
There seems to be some construction going on so maybe they’re expanding.

The amount of bugs you will experience while living here is crazy, from ants, water bugs to bee’s. This is a common occurrence, I’ve asked multiple neighbors and we’re all having this problem. The staff making It seem like they have never heard of any of the bugs that come in or that you don’t actually see any and try to downplay It as if you just let the bugs in when you open your doors. My family has gotten stung by a bee in our own apartment and nothing was done to seal any doors or anything… from where they could have came in from. Read More

I have lived at rockwood for about a year and I absolutely love it here.. its quiet, the grounds are kept clean, maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely manner, the communication between management and tenant is on point.. I would refer rockwood in a heart beat.

I am very picky and particular about where I live and I have had a really amazing experience here. I moved in during the pandemic in August of 2020 without being able to tour the unit. I have a 3 bed/3 bath unit and I love that the bedroom walls don’t touch. My kids and I have space and privacy, each with our own room and bathroom. The grounds are well kept and service requests are handled timely. Office staff is polite and available to answer questions… which I ask a lot of. I feel safe due to… the amount of officers living in the neighborhood and given the current housing market I will likely renew my lease for at least another year. The neighborhood is worth the price and if you value a clean, quiet neighborhood, Rockwood is the perfect place to live. Read More
