I love my apartment and living at Trend AT 51

Andrea was very friendly and professional. She was great at showing and explaining everything to me. The complex has an exceptional exercise room, recreation facility, pool and Jacuzzi. These are located on the roof and open for resident use 24 hours per day. I completed an application on the spot. Andrea helped me along the way from application through to the move-in process. I moved into my apartment at Trend At 51 Apartments about 1 month ago. I love my Apartment and I love everything about... Trend At 51. The parking garage and street parking is easy, and very accessible. I have assigned parking spots, but I usually don’t need them because there are so many spaces available and open on the 1st floor and street that I rarely drive up to the 2nd or 3rd floor to park there. There is dry cleaning and laundry service available. On the roof, there is coffee and Tea available, along with vending machines, and a full kitchen, large rooms of beautiful couches, chairs, and sitting areas, large TVs, pool tables, ping pong, sandbag toss, and other games. There are several large barbeques throughout the complex. The views are incredible. There are firepits and music that can be turned on at will. The pool is large and stunningly beautiful at night with the changing-colored lights in the water. The apartments and recreation areas is secure for residents. Trend At 51 is exceptionally clean and maintained daily. It feels and smells clean everywhere which is amazing. Residents honor face masks and cleaning after oneself. As a resident I feel good about living in this well-kept environment. Residents even have garbage shoots on every floor, with plenty more garbage bins in the garage to accommodate even more garbage. I love having a washer and dryer in my unit. My apartment comes with discounted high-speed internet and Basic TV. It is also incredibly quiet and peaceful here. All my neighbors are respectful, considerate, and friendly. If you have a dog, it is dog friendly here.

Noisy Neighbor

Where do I begin? I started my lease late June 2019. Perfect location with great mountain views and a rooftop pool! How perfect! Well, 1 month after I signed my lease my air conditioner broke in the middle of the summer and it happened on a Saturday evening. The leasing office was closed and they are also closed on Sundays. I called in the maintenance hotline immediately and they didn't get it fixed until Sunday afternoon, making me sleep in an apartment that was well over 85 degrees. It stopped... working a week later and finally they figured out the issue. Then, it rained for a week straight and my ceiling started leaking. It took them 2 weeks to fix that since the maintenance guy said it has to dry before they repair it. It's currently raining in AZ and my ceiling is leaking again. On top of all the maintenance issues, my one neighbor that I share a wall with screams and yells profanity. The leasing office has informed me that my issues have been addressed and there's no way for me to get out of my lease 3 months early unless I pay the termination fee, which for me is $2300. I'm paying that because of how miserable I am here at Trend at 51. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

Hi Sarah,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sometimes unable to fully repair AC's after hours due to the location of the main unit. However, we do offer a portable unit so our residents are not left without AC. The... only time we would not bring a portable AC is if the resident declines. We apologize you continue to have issues with your roof leak. Even though repairs were made and the location of the leak was believed to be found, it's hard to know for sure until the repair is put to the test with more rain. We would love to address for you asap if it is still not fully repaired. Our number is (520) 208-6415. We're sorry to hear you continue to have noise concerns. We want to help you with this. If you continue to experience this after hours, please call our courtesy control. They are an extension of our staff and we hire them for reasons just like this, to help our residents! We want you to love where you live and want to help you in anyway we can.

I'd live here again :)

I've lived at the Trend for just over a year and for the most part I've had a great experience. I'd live here again.

Staff - The leasing office staff is pretty non-visible unless you actually go into the office. I haven't really had any issues so I'm not sure how they respond to them. Can be a little bit snobby, but generally are nice.
Utilities - My electric bill has always been pretty low ($25-$75), and same for other utilities. Having to get the $80 package (or I was told you have to) with...
internet and cable is kind of dumb, but at least I haven't ever had any issues with my internet either.
Pool - The pool had quite a few issues while I've lived here, but most seemed out of the complex's control (storms).
Parking - I've never had any issues parking, and there has always been space for my friends to park on the street when needed.
In Unit - Good AC, fine in-apartment washer and dryer, good water pressure (top floor), good kitchen appliances, good insulation, blinds are okay (better than panel, but don't keep light out well)
Quality - Quality is built in. Some apartments you can tell they've renovated for appearance, but the quality sucks... not at the Trend. This place is actually pretty nice and seems built to last.
Mail - Weirdly, they have stopped accepting large packages at the front office? I've never seen this anywhere else and I don't really like it. Mailboxes at base of garage is convenient, packages come to your door generally.
Elevators - Doesn't affect me too much, but some buildings seem to have their elevators out A LOT.
Size/Noise - Walls are a bit thin, but my neighbors are always super quite so no issues for me. ONCE I could hear my neighbor listening to music when we were both in the bathroom, but I just thought it was funny.
Gym/Clubhouse - Don't spend lots of time here, but both are nice, spacious, and seldom crowded.
Lease - Standard and very reasonable lease breaking as long as you give notice. Only raised my rent like $40 at renewal.

unprofessional

I recently just signed a year lease with this management and not impressed. Very little communication, hard to get an answer. Rude as well on simple questions. all the reviews are true. i regret signing my lease.
