Vandalism, Mildew, Termites, Foundational Issues
I've been a tenant at this complex for over 2 years. In the duration of my time here my car has been rear-ended whilst parked in the open parking space of this community. Also, I am currently dealing with the controversy over having my vehicle vandalized by a fellow neighbor. My request for a transfer of my parking space has been ignored time and time again. The management does not care for their tenants whatsoever. The buildings are so old that the foundation is tilted. There is termite damage... and sometimes you can even see the termites flying around in your unit. We had a roof leak a couple months ago which caused mildew buildup in one of our rooms that took over a week to repair. Water is shut off regularly without prior notice and many times we had to take cold showers due to the water heater being shut off unbeknownst to us. Also, every time the water is shut off the water pressure in some of the faucets are down to a mere trickle due to the buildup of calcium in the age old water pipes. Lastly, this complex does not allow dogs however, there are many tenants that own dogs here who do not even have the decency to clean up after their pets during walks. In one instance my husband witnessed a tenant walking his dog on the premises who had just defecated and he was trying to cover it up with a leaf so my husband told him he shouldn't just leave it in the walkway and the man proceeded by cursing at my husband. This is just some of the many issues one will face if one chooses to be a tenant at this community.
