Heritage Oaks Apartments

The place is a rip off! It may look snug and safe at first glance, but appearances are deceiving! Dogs's barking at night, marijuana smoking on the grounds, hobos get into the property on a regular basis, criminal elements have broken into cars, or vandalized tires, bums rummage through trash cans making loud noise. Complaining to the manager Becky is useless. You will get a tell off for disturbing the trespassers, best to leave them alone. Really?! Cameras are useless. Good luck calling cops... and expecting them to show up at all. All the management cares about is your rental paycheck, anything else - none of their concern. Lee mas

Awfully noisy, especially during night hours. The main road is a favourite with motorbikers, and there is no escaping them at any time of day or night. No security patrol on site, so street bums easily get in to collect recyclables from dumpsters. Several times my kids witnessed suspicious looking dudes getting into the California fitness center's pool, using our grounds as the easiest route. A word about the fitness center, hope it stays closed for the summer, cause the screaming of... minor pool users and daily training sessions accompanied with a loudspeaker and blaring music are just the thing to keep one on edge. Nighttime dog barking is another issue to keep in mind, are their owners suffering from insomnia? Someone broke in last year and tried to access tenants' mailboxes. The guy is still at large, and no video surveillance camera stopped him. Lee mas

I love living at the Continental because it is a quiet community. All the neighbors are very friendly. The grounds are kept up and have beautiful trees and flowers. There is a pool for summer fun and to cool off on those hot days. The staff is very friendly and answer any questions or concerns you may have. The two bedrooms provide two large rooms. The apartment itself is 860 sq. ft. There is a vanity in the master bedroom. The bedroom leads to the bathroom. I like the large closet space in both... bedrooms. The ceiling fans throughout the apartment, cuts down on the utility bills. Downstairs apartments have large patios and upstairs have large balconies. There is also a laundry room for your convienance. The laundryroom also has a vending machine. This is a gated community with plenty of parking space. The studios are the size of a one bedroom apartment. Every unit is cable ready and provides free WIFI. I recommend the Continental Apartments to those of you looking for a place to call home. Heritage Oaks is a really great complex. It is small and gated which makes me feel really secure. Everyone is really quite which makes it nice for working professionals like myself. There are also families that live in the complex as well. If you are looking for a party place, this is NOT the apartments for you.

There are enforced quite hours, which I really appreciate. The apartments themselves are great. I love the vaulted ceilings in mine! The bathroom has plenty of room for two of us to get... ready if necessary without being on top of each other. And the storage is amazing! Full pantry in the kitchen, coat closet, plus additional cabinet storages in the hall are amazing! There is even a little space in the closet on the patio. Only negative is that because the washer/dryer are outside, doing laundry after work is difficult with the quite hours.

The staff is also amazing! Becky is super nice and very responsive. Also, the maintenance is great! Most things are fixed next day. Our fridge seemed like it wasn't staying cold and might die, I submitted a request online that night, next day I got a call from Becky at work letting me know they were going to pick up a new one that day and it would be installed before I got home. They moved all my food into the new fridge and I didn't have to worry about anything!
