Somerset Place Apartment Homes

Once upon a time, the way many pleasant stories begin, while passing the Somerset Place entrance; cheerful-colored flags were flying above a sign which read “Leasing Now”. As I explored on down the lane, another sign read “Welcome Home”.

For the next five years, each time I’ve driven down that pretty, peaceful lane (sometimes adorned with ducks from the pond) on the way to my apartment, I know to expect a quiet, peaceful, private, laid-back atmosphere with that Welcome Home feeling. Often times... I’m greeted by one of the many sweet dogs while it’s taking another resident for a walk.

Of course, there are occasional, less pleasant times such as necessary repairs, and for the entire same five years, these times have been met with kindness and efficiency by the Maintenance Staff.

At other times, for whatever reason I visit the Leasing Office, I’m greeted with a smile in that Welcome Home atmosphere by the office staff and made to feel that I’m their only, or most important resident.

Many times I’ve thought of how appropriate it would be if a resident might add alongside the “Welcome Home” sign, another sign which reads “Thank You, It’s Nice To Be Here!”.

Bad apartments, outdated, maintenance very bad, people at the office change all the time. They train them how to trick you and lie to you. When I moved out they did not check the apartment while I was there they said they would do it and then reimburse me for my deposit. They did not give me my money back and they charged me an extra $ 800. Even for a little more go to a more decent place. You can never contact the company that runs the apartment. No investement on the apartments or on... landscaping. Dishwasher inside the aprtments is filthy. This is by far the most dishonest people I have ever seen in my entire life. Don't go there period!!!!!! I put one star and they don't deserve even half a star. Lee mas

Asking too much money for what they offer: 700watt microwave, non-energy efficient appliances, very cheap carpeting and padding or shampooed after previous tenants, no exercise facilities, no security, loud truck mufflers, parking first come,first served, emergency water leaks or overflowing toilets not handled on weekends, no self-cleaning ovens, very small stacked washer/dryer, no energy efficient, quiet windows, cheap mismatched blinds that dry out and crack, no improvement investments,... cracked walking areas like walkways leading to apartments, could use major landscaping improvement, lawn maintenance crew discard their lunch (bones) on grounds - watch out if you have a dog, some tenants don't know how to throw out their trash and hold conversations outside of your window, car fumes seep into windows from parking lots especially when they back into parking space. Good paying on-time tenants not appreciated - want 2x monthly rent if you break lease or you can pay them for time till they rent your apartment - don't do it. Turnover maintenance takes at least a month before apartment is ready and they sit empty for 3 plus months. Lee mas

Somserset place is convenient for FAU college student and in the middle of Boca Raton. Close to the beach and mall with plenty of stuff to do.
