Hollywood Station

what a huge mistake it was to rent a apartment in this bulding. they claim to be luxury when it is far from that. The main problem is the promiximty to the train tracks where freight trains come every few hours and the brightline high speed train that just started services come thru evevery 30 minutes and the trains come 24 hours a day and blow horn when passing and you never have any peace even with windows shut and AC ON the building shakes when trains go by. In addition the building has... very compalning neighbors and the fire alarm goes off in middle of night and they have hard time shutting it down and always false alarm. Then at the end the condo owner is trying to keep my 2 month security deposit for no reason and I have to go to small claims court to get back. ALso the home less people camp out by the back dog entrance all the time and pandhandle as you try and walk your dog Lee mas

Not recommended! Our experience here was unpleasant, and we are glad to be living elsewhere. The property looks attractive, but the quality of construction is terrible. We had countless issues with the AC, lighting, leaks ... major problems on a constant basis. The condo association charges a deposit of close to $3,000 for the Courtyards at Hollywood Station (in addition to the other deposits that tenants pay to the landlord). There are virtually no common areas in the Courtyards that a tenant... could damage, so what is the purpose of the deposit?

To make matters worse, the funds are supposed to be returned within two weeks of a tenant's move-out date, which did not happen in our case. Eventually, the check came, but the uncertainty and delays created a high level of stress. The neighborhood around Hollywood Station is mixed. There is a big construction site to the north of the Courtyards, which serves as a dumping ground for matresses, sinks, even toilets! Many people who live in the community do not take pride in their surroundings. The trash and recycling bins were particularly unpleasant. We moved out as soon as our lease was up.
