Quarry Ridge Apartments

I have lived at Quarry Ridge for 6 years and would highly recommend this complex. The office & maintenance staff are very friendly and provide outstanding customer service. Submitted work orders are promptly completed. They continue to update the complex, I really enjoy the Butterfly and SmartRent systems. Everyone visiting remarks on what a quiet building it is. The garage has nice storage cabinets with the parking spaces bigger than most apartment buildings. It is also a very safe neighborhood... for walkers and joggers. Lee mas

We have lived here for 7 months now and have enjoyed the Quarry Ridge. We rarely hear neighbors above or to the sides of us in the 1805 building, access to the apartments is fairly secure (our bike was stolen from the garage, but we didn’t have it locked). Downside: even if your apartment faces the pond like ours does, all you can hear is the highway, even with the sliding doors and windows closed. Not the apartment’s fault, just not ideal. Management is good, although unhelpful with our bike... situation. Owners of dogs are respectful and keep their distance and 98% of the time pick up waste. It’s clean and in a good spot (15 min walk door-to-door from the apartments to St. Mary’s). Overall a good place if you’re looking for somewhere dependable and close to SMH that doesn’t completely rob your wallet. Lee mas

I have been incredibly disappointed with moving out of this apartment complex. I lived here for 3 years, in two different apartments. The office often makes obscure charges with little to no explanation. Every time I went into the office to discuss the due payment, they waved it and did not know where it came from. Both times a lease has ended there have been issues. I personally had to call each utility company to end my service, and then was later billed after my lease ended because the office... did not officially end my lease. They are helpful to get you into the apartment, but be prepared for a headache when you are ready to leave. Lee mas

Overpriced and becoming very run down. They love adding extra charges wherever they can.

After contacting one of the employees at Quarry Ridge, I was not at first happy. I was disappointed in the lack of concern for my situation of needing to move in a day early and was met with a response basically saying "no can do." Once I pushed a bit, I got into contact with Julie, the manager, and was instantly more satisfied than with the response I previously was met with. Julie was much more sympathetic and did all she could to help. She also gave me the outcome I was looking for and was... much friendlier. Lee mas
