Drake Plaza Apartments

Thank you for taking the time to review The Drake Plaza! We are sorry to hear that you were left with an unfavorable impression - we are not sure during what time frame you lived at The Drake, but in the last year and a half, the elevator has only... been out of service twice, and was repaired within a day in one case, and three days in a second case where unfortunately a necessary part was back-ordered. Maintenance - elevator and otherwise - are top priorities, and most resident work orders are closed within 48 hours (during the business week). Exceptions might occur where outside contractors must be engaged or parts need to be ordered, but those occasions are kept to a minimum and we make it a priority to communicate with our residents in the event of any delays. All of our pictures are taken within the last year, so are representative of the units we offer currently, and while we have clearly communicated policies we must adhere to, our on-site management has an open-door policy to discuss any issue and works hard to ensure our residents’ needs are met and, wherever possible, exceeded. At The Drake, we are committed to setting the highest standard of comfort and convenience for our residents, and are constantly working to ensure that we meet that... standard. After a transition period, The Drake has for the last year had a permanent on-site manager who makes it a priority every day to be available and responsive to residents as well as to be visible on the property to address needs. Our maintenance staff works very hard to ensure that resident needs are attended to in a timely fashion and with a positive result, including 24-hour on call emergency maintenance services. We have now and have always had regular preventative pest control and regular elevator maintenance, and can confidently say we’re proud of the comfortable and affordable apartments, the personal service, and the great community we offer!
