BEWARE!!!!
When I came to Auburn on vocation as a student of the arts and working as a Chef in a fine dining restaurant I only meant to stay here for a few months as another set of apartments were being finished.

This place is more like a scummy motel than a viable living place.

The landlord played nice at first but didn't hold up her end of agreements. I did not receive the 'new pergo flooring', nor the 'new carpet' I was told was going to accompany my move in.
My plumbing; as well as, ... other tenant's plumbing did not work..and worse (sewer in the tub)....for a matter of days going into a week....my neighbor was distraught and in tears.
And that was just the bathroom...
For months my kitchen sink did not drain properly...the 'solution' for the staff was to keep pouring drains down the tubes....after a friend plumber came over and told me that a snake...etc...was needed because the pipes in the back were so backed up....cost me 50$ personally....
There are bugs...and I don't mean flies, or ants, or SPIDERS (which there were plenty) ...there are creepy crawlers...and if I could post the video of these things it'd make your skin crawl. Not only centipedes in my house crawling around the UNFINISHED carpet but in my bedroom and on my bed.

Again...beware...

If you move here you WILL HAVE to but a new mattress and box spring when you leave.


Mind you..I am a clean and tidy individual. I keep to myself and spend as much of my time out of this apartment because it is a stuffy, unfinished basement of a 1 bedroom.


There are many more things I could get into...like leaking ceiling tiles that ruined my television, the paper thin walls, the moldy and over priced washer and dryers, how there is no ventilation in the kitchen which leads to the entire apartment filling with smoke when you cook....

But I'll end with this.

I had a mouse come up from my tub and disappear some where in my kitchen...

And,

After having conversations about all of these issues (mainly the rodent and insect problem...)the landlady proverbially shrugged her shoulders,said there was nothing she could do, And offered no comfort. Lee mas
