Spanish Village Apartments

I lived at Spanish Village for about two years and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. There is lots of greenery surrounding the place, which is a nice switch from the typical parking-lot-only view many apartments in this city get. The two-story layout is perfect for separating the bedroom space from the main living area, and the cinderblock walls are very noise-proof! The landlord and property manager are both super handy. The property manager is always on-site, so any issue you may encounter... will be easily taken care of. The area is decently walkable too, and 2 minutes away from the lake Austin H-E-B! The only positive of Spanish Village is the unusually low rent. There are persistent problems with the plumbing, so on any given day residents may have to shower in cold water. There have been some interruptions in trash disposal. The property manager spends much of her time in the common areas, where she subjects the residents to lengthy expositions of her opinions about politics and life generally. The outdoor furniture appears to have been collected from curbsides. Whether to apply to Spanish... Village depends on how much you are willing to tolerate in exchange for below-market rent. Lee mas
