Worst renting experience at Residences at the Collections
I had the worst renting experience at Residences at the Collections. The apartment complex has separate teams for Community, Financial, Leasing, and Maintenance. Unfortunately, team members change frequently, resulting in consistently poor responses from each team.
To resolve any issues, I often had to make multiple requests. While living on the second floor, I could hear every step of the people walking above me. The apartment itself was overall dirty, and I even encountered cockroaches... .
Additionally, the rent increases every year, and there are numerous junk fees. The complex management installed a Smart Hub service and began charging $25 per month, along with various other fees. However, the main component (modem/router) was defective. Despite my repeated communications, it took them 21 months to address the issue and finally replace it, during which time I was paying for a service I did not receive.
When I moved out, the Financial team overcharged me and never provided a breakdown of the charges. According to my calculations, they still owe me $632.99.
