2 Months of Issues
I’ve been living here for a bit longer than problems. Day 1, the place has clearly not been cleaned properly. Mysterious red sauce stuck on the sides of the oven, the carpet is frayed at the edges, AC doesn’t work, holes in the paint, paint stains on the flooring, etc. I brought these issues up a week before I actually moved in, and not a single one of these issues were solved. It took 3 different tickets for the AC to be finally fixed, and it wasn’t even fixed by a maintenance worker from this... location, it took a worker from a different location to finally see that the AC unit wasn’t properly wired before it finally got solved.
The AC issue is really a great example of how things get done here. It will take multiple tickets, multiple trips to the leasing office, and days of workers coming in and out of your unit before any issue gets resolved. I wish this was an over exaggeration, but you can look at many of the reviews for this location as well as the other locations owned by their parent company, LUMA Residential, to see this is a continued trend.
The most recent issue to plague my stay here is a water leak that started early in the day, and turned into a full flood of my unit. I have spoke to 10 licensed plumbers in the DFW area that all say the way that this was handled was absolutely not how one deals with this kind of work in someone apartment.
Stay away from this place and any place owned by LUMA Residential/Corp. You will be frustrated and exhausted from the constant battle for people to treat you fairly. I regret it everyday that I signed a lease here. Please, I am begging you, do not lease here or at any other property affiliated with LUMA. Please.
