Roaches
Living here has been one of the most stressful experiences of my life.
You will have roaches and silver fish. You can expect to maybe get break from the roaches from November to March. During the week I’ve seen as many as 6 in a week mostly dead but I have seen a few alive - just depends. Even had 1 crawl across my ceiling. I routinely have pest control so who knows how many would be living if I did not.
I was convinced the new management had a better pest control plan as promised but it truly... is the building. They are somehow in the walls and it doesn’t matter how clean you keep it, they will find a way in your apartment. I started to see them before my boxes were even unpacked and barely had furniture.
I spoke with Jr. who offered additional pest control at an additional 3 digit cost which I am not going to do as this is an apartment issue - not my issue. There needs to be better alternatives for tenants who don’t want to live with ROACHES. I’ve asked a friend who moved here a year or so ago if she has issues and she says she has had a terrible roach issue along with her sister who had to move units because hers was that bad.
I have to keep traps out to know the activity of the pests and I can’t really have guests as this is embarrassing. Being comfortable in my own apartment is just not a thing.
I wouldn’t recommend this apartment to anyone & extremely disappointment in the treatment I received as a tenant here.
