Encore Montrose

I have been a resident of Encore Montrose for over five years. Over the past year and a half, the overall condition of the community has declined significantly. Both elevators are frequently out of service, which presents an ongoing safety concern. Additionally, the hallways often have foul odors, and interactions with office staff have lacked professionalism and courtesy.

These ongoing issues have led me to consider terminating my lease and relocating to a safer and more professionally managed... community. Lee mas

I love living here. I feel safe and the staff are nice. Only downside is when the elevators are down and having to take the stairs with groceries. If that wasn’t an issue, I would rate it 5 stars.

I’ve lived at Encore for about five years. The first few years were great, but the quality has steadily declined.

Elevators: This is the biggest issue. For over a year, one of the two elevators is almost always out of service, and recently both were down for days. This is unacceptable for a “luxury” building and a serious safety and accessibility concern. Updates are given, but there is never a permanent fix, and upper management shows little accountability.

Management & Maintenance: Jose Luis... , Kyle, and Brian are kind and hardworking. Maintenance is usually responsive, but some fixes feel temporary due to limited resources and poor support from higher management.

Humidity: I’ve had severe humidity and mold issues for two years, requiring me to run my own dehumidifier and discard belongings. This is clearly a widespread health concern.

For the rent charged, these unresolved issues are unacceptable. I will be moving out when my lease ends. Lee mas

Elevators are both broken at this time. They sent an email yesterday saying someone was onsite working on them & today still BROKEN. It’s either 1 or the other that isn’t working. 1 is ALWAYS broken.

Love the community. Only downside has been the elevators breaking down quite frequently. they are quick to communicate with us regarding the issues, but there have been times it has taken a while to fix
