West Oaks Village Apartamentos

I have lived here for almost 9 years. We've had the same manager the entire time. Mary is absolutely awesome. She is very compassionate and caring for the residents who live here and always goes the extra mile! I honestly have never met a manager such as her! She makes sure the property is well maintained on all levels at all times providing a beautiful safe and secure place to call home.
Her staff and crew are all excellent in their jobs and areas of expertise always taking care of residence... needs and service requests promptly.

There are many community activities and all my neighbors have become like family to me.
I feel so blessed to live here. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. This is an unbelievable residence managed by the most incredible manager. Mary deserves an award!!!

This apartment complex is nice physically. The staff, not so much.
The staff that works here is absolutely terrible and do not care about their residents.
I’m the daughter of my elderly mother living here, I went to the leasing office to address an issue and got laughed at and got told that the way I felt about the issue is the way I felt and there’s nothing that can be done.
That being said, my mother does not feel comfortable living here no longer and that’s not the way to feel in the place... you call “home”
I recommend looking some place else if you’re a family member looking to put your family in a senior community. Lee mas

My husband and I have lived here for a little over 5 years, and we absolutely LOVE it!!! Every month, there are many opportunities (trips, activities) for residents, the entire property is exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the staff are wonderful. The manager, Mary Gervason, truly cares about all of us, and is the main reason this community is the great place that it is. She's been manager for 7 years, and has very high standards for this property and how it should be run, how it... looks, etc. The remainder of the staff, both office and maintenance/
housekeeping, take good care of us, too. As I've already said, we love living here, and won't consider living anywhere else! Lee mas

Located in West Houston just a couple of blocks from West Oaks Mall on Hwy 6 and Westheimer Road. Grocery stores and shopping is close. Each Monday morning, Fiesta sends a small bus to pickup residents.

The 4-story complex opened in 2010 with assigned covered parking and garages available at reasonable rates. There is ample free unassigned uncovered parking. The parking lot entrances and exits have controlled access with video monitoring.

Each building has electronic controlled access doors... with climate controlled hallways. Video cameras are located throughout the buildings. Elevators are located in each building. Mailboxes are located near the office. The office will hold large packages for your convenience. Front door trash pickup is done each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday except on holidays.

The swimming pool is closed each Monday for cleaning. It has a walk-in slope and handrail on one end. Water exercise classes are usually held Tuesday through Friday mornings during the summer.

A very large Game Room has a variety of games and puzzles. Free Bingo games are played several times a month with prizes for winners. The room is available for private parties.

A small Theater Room is located on the second floor of Building I. There are 6 comfy easy chairs available to watch movies. A large video library is available in the office. Wednesday nights are "Movie Night" which is held by a resident volunteer with both current and old movies.

A Library is located on the third floor in Building I. A large collection of paperback books and magazines is available and may be checked out.

The second floor in Building I also has a large Activity Room with a pool table, shuffle board table, WII Game and large TV, tables and chairs, and a wall-mounted TV for football parties and other events. The Monthly Concert Night is also held here on Saturday evening. Next door is the Exercise Room with TVs, treadmills, weight machines and stationary bikes. There is also a Yoga Room where a resident volunteer holds Yoga and Laughing classes.

The Coffee Room near the office is used by Health Care Representatives to perform blood pressure readings and to make presentations concerning their services. The Coffee Room also serves to hold the food buffet tables during large events such as the Annual Thanksgiving Pot Luck Dinner.

Each month a Community Calendar is available so residents can keep up with the monthly activities. Maintenance is quick and the grounds are well kept. Lee mas
