Unsafe Conditions and Broken Maintenance Process

I’m a long-term resident, and my experience has declined due to unresolved safety issues and a broken maintenance process.

Exterior lighting near my building has been out for over a month, creating unsafe conditions. Because the walkways were dark, we unexpectedly encountered two stray pit bulls near the building. Multiple maintenance requests were submitted, yet the work orders were closed as “resolved” without the lights being fixed.

The maintenance system itself is broken. Requests are...
closed without action, management and maintenance don’t communicate, and the burden is placed on tenants to repeatedly follow up. Why have a system to request help if issues are closed without being addressed?

I also experienced a serious towing issue. A rental vehicle was parked after 2:00 a.m. and towed before 8:00 a.m., leaving no reasonable opportunity to register it after a late-night shift. The tow was not reported to law enforcement and was only confirmed after police reviewed traffic footage.

Despite contacting both on-site and regional management, no one has yet to return my calls. Prospective residents should proceed with caution.

We regret that your experience has been frustrating. Regarding exterior lighting and maintenance concerns, our team relies on submitted service requests so issues can be properly tracked, addressed, and documented. If a service request is not resolved to satisfaction or if concerns persist, we strongly encourage residents to contact the leasing office directly. This allows us to promptly follow up, escalate when necessary, and ensure appropriate resolution. Our goal is always to ensure residents feel heard and supported. With respect to towing, our parking policies are in place to promote safety and ensure accurate records of vehicles on the property. To avoid enforcement action, residents are responsible for registering all vehicles—including rental or temporary vehicles—with the leasing office or through the resident parking app. Additionally, in accordance with our lease agreement, all occupants residing in an apartment must be listed on the lease. This helps us maintain accurate records, ensure community safety, and provide appropriate support to all residents. We are always happy to assist with adding authorized occupants as needed. Thank you for your residency and for bringing these concerns to our attention.

Staff seem friendly but are extremely unprofessional.

I could go on & on about how bad they are. Drive through the parking lot-the abandoned car may still be by bldg #2. Be sure to notice the road around the complex that you have to drive around big holes. They had to shut down the swimming pool because there was a big hole in the floor. If they do not return our entire deposit we will be turning them into the BBB.

Please heed the warning!

I have lived her for over two years with my children and I have never been treated like crap these past few weeks. I asked to downsize in order to save for a home and was told due to the excessive damage in the apartment that they can not approve the transfer. There are no holes in the wall or anything that is tremendously damaged. It is literally all normal wear and tear. Having two young children it is hard to keeping carpet clean even when you have a carpet cleaner. Informed them my... microwave has not worked and it still has not been replaced or fixed (its been 3 weeks). For some scratches, chipped paint off the wall, and carpet I was given a quote of $1600. this quote will probably increase after moving out. I stated that its not that I wouldn't pay them, I just cant afford that entire amount in one sitting. Could I set up a payment plan and I was told that corporate wont allow it. I don't know where I will live at this moment and if I apply some where who knows what they will try to put on my credit because I can only pay a certain amount every paycheck. I do have kids and bills. It took them forever to even get back with me and my lease ends next week. They do not value there residents because this could have been handled way better. All they care about is the money. I hope you heed to the warning because they will charge for every little single thing when you move out. I guess i will be contacting my lawyer and make sure that I take pictures ad video of everything when i leave

Nightmare at The Atlantic!

Absolutely avoid this place...look elsewhere! Rented me a unit that was full of pet urine; initially masked the smell with a plug in air fresheners. After the smell persisted I purchased a UV light and found the carpet was saturated with pet urine. Carrie stated everything possible had been done; I ended up having the unit professionally sanitized before I moved in. In the same negative vein, after my apartment flooded Carrie and her crew placed a majority of our belongings in the bathtub on... Friday night and did not notify us of the flood until the following Monday afternoon; over $1K in damages from mildew. After the flood repairs were hastily done without remediation efforts to remove mold; avoid unit 22103. This entire outfit is unprofessional, lacks ethics, and flat out operates without integrity. Do yourself a favor, avoid the heartache...take your money to a more reputable property.
