Camden Monument Place Apartamentos

I’ve been living here for 1.5 years and I absolutely love it! Since the very beginning Karissa, my leasing consultant, has always been very attentive and super helpful. Management and the maintenance techs are all very responsive too! Great place to live. :)

I have been living at Camden Monument Place for about 3 years now. From the day that I inquired about an apartment up until present day the staff has been extremely nice, helpful and attentive to all of my concerns. The property is generally well up-kept other than minor issues (such as trash left out by residents in the hallway or more recently the garage). When this is reported Maintenance immediately ensures that the area is clear. Maintenance responds to requests within hours of submission... which is a plus. Any concerns I may have the office staff attentively tries to resolve the best way possible. A few technical issues such as the garage or elevators but the office staff does their best to address these in a timely manner. No alarming pest concerns which is generally a concern for those who look for apartments. If there is a bug or two pest control comes within the following day or two. The only issue I have had is in regards to packages being lost or taken. Which the office staff has put signs around the property for the delivery personnel to come to the office for access. Hopefully there is another resolution as it can be a headache for those in school or during the holiday time. Overall, I have truly enjoyed living here and hope that the experience continues to get better as I have seen the Staff go the extra mile to make our experience as best as possible! Lee mas

If you want a non-smoking complex, stay away! It has been a smokers haven. They just went non-smoking in June, but anybody who has a current lease can smoke on their patios as much as they want until lease renews, so it will be at least two years before it is smoke free. The management does nothing if you can smell the smoke in your apartment or patio. Also, non resident cars park in our covered garage all the time, and when a resident complains, they do nothing. TOW the cars. I'm paying... for an extra space. This complex is in a nice area, yet the upkeep and management need a lot of improvement. Would not reccomend to anyone. The management isn't the best, The manager and assistant manager should have more training and also should listen to resident complaints and do something about it I lived here for more than 3 years and most of the problems are due to bad management mainly the assistant manager since she has been here longer than the newly hired manger on the other hand the office and maintenance staff are extremely nice but they don't have much power to change stuff in this complex. other camdens in the area are... managed much better I might just move back there! Pros: 1- close to most stuff that are needed on daily basis including a mall. 2- Nice and safe area. Cons: 1- General cleaning is needed in many parts of the complex. 2- Building/garage access needs to be secured more. 3- Management changes must occur since changing the last manager didn't help much. 4- Common areas are locked when the leasing office isn't working.
