I’ve been dealing with unlivable conditions for over a year and a half. During my time here, I’ve encountered roaches, spiders, ants, slugs, and constant trash in the hallways. It doesn’t stop there—children run through the halls unsupervised, cars have been broken into, and mail theft is a serious ongoing issue.

My mailbox has been broken for over a year, and... management has repeatedly failed to fix it. Because of this, my new passport was stolen, and my old passport was returned without packaging—clearly tampered with. I’ve also had a debit card stolen and used, and multiple credit cards that were mailed to me were stolen before I could receive them. This isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a major security risk, and my personal safety has been compromised.

Not only does the thief now have access to my identity, but they also know where I live, putting me in real danger. In the current climate of growing national security concerns, the failure to address this broken mailbox is unacceptable and dangerous.

When I’ve tried to raise concerns about these ongoing issues, the leasing office staff talks down to residents, acting as if we are the problem. There is no professionalism, no urgency, and no regard for the mental health or safety of tenants. The property is neglected, and concerns are dismissed with condescension or silence.

If you’re okay with mail theft, pests, trash, break-ins, and an uncaring, unprofessional management team, then this might be the place for you. But if you value safety, security, and a livable environment, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

Chesterfield Village is not just mismanaged—it’s dangerous. Save yourself the stress and the risk—do not move here. Lee mas

Dont move here they have a bug problem centipedes all in the apartment and they dont do anything about it,also had a water leak in my apartment emergency maintenance does not come out

My unit was terribly infested with roaches and management refused to help.

When I first moved into Chesterfield Village, everything was great. The staff were super friendly, the neighborhood relatively quiet and safe. However, 6 months in and my opinion has completely changed and I have only gotten lies and rude attitudes.

First, when I moved in I was promised that everything on the damages paper I filled out would be fixed in one fell swoop once I turned it in. The only things that have been fixed are the ones I have put individual service requests in for. The first... few requests were handled promptly. But, I shouldn't have had to put them in in the first place as I had been promised that if they were on the damages report they would be fixed.

Second, I put in a request for a new screen door since the one on the door was completely torn up when I moved in. The request sat there for TWO MONTHS! It was only fixed when I called to complain.

Third, I had two requests in for repairs that were marked as completed in the resident portal. But they clearly had not been fixed when I checked. A blatant lie on the companies part. Again, only a call to complain fixed the issue.

Fourth, there was a shooting the morning Superbowl Sunday on the road just yards from my apartment. Absolutely no notice was put out to the residents.

Fifth, every time I have had to interact with staff - whether going in to get a new parking sticker or guess passes - the staff have been...less than enthusiastic. Never a smile to be seen and only the tersest of words.

Finally, the state of the complex itself. It's very clear that they only care about the curb appeal for apartments closer to the main road. The further into the complex you get, the more disrepair you see. From potholes in the road, to trash and dog waste everywhere. It's obvious that the put the effort only into what potential renters will see. Lee mas

Love the space! People are friendly! Glad I found this gem ! Leasing office never gives a problem maintenance fix things when they say they will. What are you waiting for?!
