Avana Star Lake is a great community, I mean a family. They take well care of the residents, the security is fine, and the customer services is excellent!

This apartment complex is so disappointing, I really wish I didn’t have to give it any stars. Maintenance can’t communicate let alone get work orders completed without me either harassing the front office or writing bad reviews. I was even told by the old maintenance employees how bad the mold is for majority of the property but not one professional mold removing company has been seen to resolve the issues around the complex. My last work orders that were minor sat for five months until I got a... call about my open ticket, just for the front office employee to not pay attention to which unit they were calling and for what problem, just for the problems I have to not be fully fixed. Highway robbery for what we pay just to live with half working appliances. I hate that I can’t even move out of here yet, because if I could financially afford it I would’ve high tailed it out of here a long time ago.

We want to assure you that your concerns have not gone unheard. Our team has been in ongoing communication with you regarding your work orders, and we’ve previously shared that our maintenance department is currently short-staffed. This has unfortunately led to delays in response times.
We also take health and safety concerns seriously. If there is suspected mold in a unit or common area, we encourage all residents to submit detailed maintenance requests so we can properly inspect and resolve any issues. We’re committed to maintaining a safe living environment and will continue working toward solutions.
We do want to kindly remind you that while we absolutely welcome feedback—both positive and negative—respectful communication is essential. Harassing our staff, whether in person, over the phone, or online, is not acceptable and makes it more difficult for us to assist you and others effectively.

Love the office staff! They’re always so friendly and accommodating. They always listen to anything I bring to their attention and make sure it gets taken care of. They are very on top of their game!

Except for some of the neighbors being loud all night this apartment complex isn’t bad at all. I tend to stay to myself as much as possible. My kids love the other kids around here so that’s a plus.
