Do not recommend!
I moved to Centro Apartments in August 2025 mainly because of its proximity to Nova, but since day one, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
On my official move-in day, I arrived with a moving company ready to unload everything, only to find my apartment completely infested with cockroaches. There were roaches everywhere, in the kitchen, bathroom, walls, and even inside the dishwasher. Because of this, I had to cancel my movers, losing a non-refundable cancellation fee that I was... never reimbursed for.
For a few days, the apartment was not livable, and I couldn’t move in as planned. On top of the pest infestation, there were multiple issues that should have been addressed before move-in, including lifting LVT tiles, damaged flooring, yellowed baseboards, and a leaking AC unit. Management acknowledged the problems and said they would “try” to reimburse me for the days I couldn’t move in, but despite multiple follow-ups, I never received any refund.
Although pest control was sent a few times, the problem was never fully resolved. I eventually had to buy my own pest control products and treat the unit myself, out of my own pocket. The infestation is not as severe now, but I still find roaches occasionally.
Then, on October 25th at around 4:00 a.m., I experienced a major water leak under my kitchen sink that quickly spread to the adjacent bedroom, closet, living room, and master bedroom. The flooding damaged several of my recently purchased furniture pieces. I immediately called the emergency maintenance line multiple times, but no one ever answered. I had to remove the water myself using basic tools without any help or proper equipment.
Since the incident, I’ve been experiencing allergy symptoms due to the damp air and developing mold inside the walls. I have a strong allergy to mold and dust, and the situation has become a serious health concern.
Overall, my experience has been stressful, costly, and frustrating.
