Collegewood- All One Bedroom

All in all it’s a decent place to live, it’s easy to keep clean and there are very close parking spots, other than this it’s a no-go. i had roaches in my kitchen the entire 9 months of living here even tho i got the place sprayed once a month. i did not like that the ac unit was only in the living room as even when the air is blowing the bedroom will be very hot, the carpet isn’t bad but it’s easily pulled up so do not bring a cat unless they are declawed, the staff was great nothing to complain... on them but this place needs some renovation, not to mention that there’s a club/bar about 50 feet away so weekends suck as the windows literally shake. i give this place a 2 outta 5. The people are so rude and unhelpful. The apartments are decent but not worth the amount for rent. They put towing warnings in the gross, dark, laundry room & mailboxes, but not warnings on your car or apartment door. The staff Is lazy and uncooperative in every aspect.

The apartment units themselves are great. It's very comfortable and very close to FSU campus.
I have no complaints about the units themselves, and the maintenance staff is always very responsive.

However, something they would never tell you is that this particular apartment complex is located right behind Potbelly's, a popular bar in town. So, every Thursday through Saturday night of every week you can expect loud music to be playing until 2am. It's even worse on game days, when there's... sometimes music as early as 9 in the morning.
And this is not something you can avoid or ignore. The music is so loud that it literally reverberates throughout the apartment complex and makes the windows rattle.

I will not live here again and I would never recommend anyone else ever live here.
Avoid this location at all costs, unless you are the type of person who would be out partying until 2am every Thursday through Saturday night anyway. Read More

Dont let the motel vibe on the exterior trick you, these places are affordable and comfortable. 550 sq feet all used to your full advantage. Walk in closet, good size kitchen that overlooks the living room. These building are at least 50 years old and you are forced to use one AC unit which is expensive if left on and makes your apartment a sauna if turned off. You have to use the public washer and drier but its not too bad because it saves you so much money. They are also very pet friendly and... in a great location. FSU & Downtown are walking distance and a couple bars right around the corner. If you want to live alone for a good price in a central location this is the place! Read More
