Delano at Cypress Creek

My family and I relocated back to Florida and were in need of a place to stay when the purchase of our home fell thru. After calling several places and not getting any help, we found Delano Apts. From the start, Athena in the office, was friendly, sweet, and accommodating with our situation! We moved with our kitties who were stressed out, which definitely added to the overall stress because getting them situated was our top priority.

Athena is also an animal lover and saw how important… getting us into a place was. With each step of paperwork we needed to complete, she was super clear about our next step and quickly turned around her part in the process. She was willing to work as hard as she could to the last minute of her shift and had so much empathy for us, that you'd have thought she was in the same boat with us. Athena was amazing to work with and her manager supported her behind the scenes to advise anytime we had questions she wasn't sure about. Once we signed the lease, they had the cutest welcome basket with treats for the kitties!! It was totally adorable and little, personal touches like that go along way. I hope this is a great sign of our stay here.

I hate having to write this review since my time living there was actually pretty enjoyable.. but this complex unfortunately has some SERIOUS trust issues. Upon moving out I was charged $90 for carpet problems despite having a clear move out inspection AND also having my carpet professionally cleaned/spot cleaned right before move out.


I called to have charges reversed and was told more or less that nothing could be done because they already took the money out (despite me offering to show… video and photo evidence of a CLEAN carpet and receipt of the professional cleaning done on my end before move out). I pointed out all of the physical evidence I possessed including a CLEAR move out inspection from their head of maintenance. I asked if it included carpet and oven cleaning (since these tend to be standard issues apartments charge for) and they assured me it did and everything was good to go and I would receive my full refund. Which as you can now see, that was a bold faced lie and I am very disappointed to have to publicly share this.


I expected more out of this complex. I hope the $90 was worth it. Read More

This place looks nice but when you live here you will quickly see it’s a different story. It is clear by the way I have been treated they only care about the money. They constantly raise the rent which is hard when your pay isn’t going up but the bills are. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT THEY WILL BRUSH IT OFF LIKE ITS NOTHING BECAUSE LIKE I SAID THEY DO NOT CARE.

The community is cheap compared to many others in the area. The maintenance staff are prompt, if not always fast in their duties. It once took a repairman from 9 in the morning till 4:30 in the evening to get my A/C running. The management are strict about adherence to the rules when asked about them, but don't actively do anything if complaints are lodged about others. Such as neighbors being loud after 10PM(Which is supposed to be quiet hours). I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you wish… to stay in Wesley Chapel. Read More
