Over Promise and never deliver
I would strongly caution anyone considering living here.
For the past 24 months, we have been paying $100 per month for internet that we have never been able to fully use due to improper wiring inside the walls. Management acknowledged that the wiring was done incorrectly and told us an electrician would need to rewire the unit. The assistant property manager personally offered us a full credit for every month until the issue was fixed.
Two years later, the wiring has still not been repaired... .
Instead of honoring the credit that was promised, management is now refusing to provide it. They are claiming we “voided” the credit because we moved the access point in an attempt to get partial internet service — something we were never told we couldn’t do. Even after moving it, we still never received the full service we were paying for.
In addition to that, routine maintenance on our washer was done improperly. When I went to do laundry, the machine flooded our apartment. While cleaning up the water, I was electrocuted in my hand. This was a serious safety issue that could have been much worse.
Our front door was also damaged during a hurricane over a year ago, and despite repeated promises to fix it, it still has not been properly repaired.
The pattern here is consistent: promises are made to get you to stop asking about an issue, and then those promises are not honored. Communication is poor, follow-through is nonexistent, and tenant safety does not appear to be a priority.
We have been more than patient for two years. Rent is expected on time every month, but basic services and safety repairs are not handled with the same urgency.
If you value accountability, safety, and management that keeps their word, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
