The Connection at Athens

The internet can be frustratingly slow but other than that I’ve had a decent experience. Nice area with restaurants and stores nearby. Bit far from campus but I didn’t mind. Maintenance was usually timely and there’s enough parking. The pipes are a bit old and some are clogged which was annoying since I had to buy Draino regularly to clear my shower drain despite the fact I know my hair isn’t what’s clogging it.

I enjoy living at the Connection! They are very responsive whenever we have any issues and it is a great place for students to live off-campus.

There’s been a shift in management over the three years I’ve lived here. Current management is doing really well to try to fix a lot of the previous issues (e.g., wifi, buses, gates). I do think the community is overall improving.

Overall, this apartment complex offers great amenities and well-maintained facilities, which have made living here enjoyable. While there have been several management changes over time bringing some inconsistency and adjustments things currently seem to be running smoothly. At the moment, the experience has been positive and stable.

Management will not help or even communicate in terms of concerns towards my property being damaged and being stolen from. We had renovations with less than a weeks notice. The vendors stole, left trash from food and drinks they stole, used our toilets (made a mess doing so) and damaged my personal furniture that they were not supposed to touch.
