This is a fantastic community, unbeatable location, and staff that truly cares! I’ve lived here for over a year and couldn’t be happier! From day one, the staff has been incredible — welcoming, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to making residents feel at home. Whether it’s maintenance requests, package inquiries, or just a friendly hello in the lobby, the team goes above and beyond every time. The location is absolutely amazing — just steps from great restaurants, shops, parks AND Truist... park!! It’s convenient for everything I need, yet the building still feels peaceful and comfortable. One of my favorite parts about living here is the resident events. Management puts on fun, inclusive activities that make it easy to meet neighbors and build a real sense of community. From seasonal parties to game nights and fitness classes, there’s always something to look forward to. Overall, this place truly feels like home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vibrant community with top-notch service and an unbeatable location!

We have been living in the same building for nearly a year now. Our grills and fire places are still broken since the day we moved in. Additionally, our gym equipment has been broken for months. This is all frustrating as these were large reasons we decided to move to this location and amenities we are paying for

Living at the Battery is the best experience I could’ve asked for. It’s so convenient to many things, it’s always clean and the employees are passionate about their jobs. They are always helpful and professional. I feel safe and at peace here. Most people assume it’s loud here but it’s actually peaceful and you don’t hear much noise at all. I highly recommend anyone looking for good energy, a community that does events frequently, and a place of convenience to select Cortland at The Battery.

The hallways of building two are absolutely filthy. It looks like it hasn't been repainted in years. I know for a fact it hasn't been painted in one year because there is still a damaged wall by my apartment and I have lived here for one year. The only reason why I renewed my lease is because I did not feel like moving. I don't even understand how this is allowed.
