Positives and frustrations
I’ve been here one month, and my experience has been a mix of positives and frustrations. The property is beautiful, and the amenities are impressive. My leasing agent, Toshany, deserves a big shout-out—she has been amazing from start to finish. The entire office staff is kind and supportive.
That said, my move-in experience was a little rough. I signed my lease in July expecting a brand-new apartment and a large storage space. On move-in day, the apartment I had chosen months ago had clearly... been lived in—scuffed walls, a broken shelf, crumbs in the microwave, and personal items left behind—and the assigned storage unit didn’t even exist. Thankfully, Bennett, the property manager, along with Zo, another leasing agent, stepped in and worked quickly to come up with a solution: a new apartment that I actually like even better than the original. While my immediate concerns were resolved, this experience revealed flaws in Hanover’s processes and communication, and future residents should be aware and double-check details before move-in.
As for the apartments themselves, it’s obvious the contractors didn’t pay attention to small details. That being said, the apartments are beautiful, very spacious, with plenty of kitchen storage and large closets, which I truly appreciate.
Another frustration since moving in has been with the internet provider, Elauwit. The service and customer support are dreadful — constant outages and no accountability. What’s worse is that residents can’t even opt out. A quick Google search will show I’m not alone.
Overall, the staff, including the two maintenance engineers, is what makes this place shine.
