Not a safe community for single women
I would not recommend Paces Park, especially for single women looking for a safe and professionally managed community.
I've lived all over the world, including Australia, California, Hawaii, and Miami, and this is the only place I've ever lived where I consistently felt unsafe, ignored, and disrespected by management.
I lived here for four years. When I first moved in, the staff was helpful and quickly resolved issues with my original unit. Unfortunately, after management changed, the property... and resident experience noticeably declined.
The front gate remained broken and open for months, and during that time my car was broken into. Packages frequently disappeared, trash regularly piled up, attracting rats and roaches, and common areas were often dirty and poorly maintained. The gym was advertised as a 24-hour amenity but was frequently closed without explanation. Teenagers regularly broke into the gym and business center on weekends, creating disturbances that management never seemed to get under control.
The final straw happened on April 15 when my balcony caught fire while I was at work. The fire damage was limited to the exterior, and the fire department confirmed that the interior of my apartment was unaffected. Despite this, a maintenance employee repeatedly demanded that I immediately vacate my apartment and remove all of my belongings. When I refused because my apartment was unsecured and contained valuable property, he called the police. I was awakened by officers entering my apartment after an already stressful night. The police ultimately confirmed that I did not have to leave because the unit remained habitable.
Even after I specifically requested that this employee no longer enter my apartment, management sent him back anyway. My concerns about safety and boundaries were completely disregarded.
After four years of paying rent on time and being a responsible resident, I finally decided to leave. I asked management to waive six days of June rent since I would be fully moved out by June 1. The answer was an immediate no. Apparently four years of on-time payments and patience with countless issues earned exactly zero flexibility.
Paces Park advertises luxury living, but the reality is poor management, safety concerns, and a lack of respect for residents. There are far better options in the area. My only regret is not leaving sooner

Thank you for your feedback. While we respect every resident's right to share their experience, several statements in this review do not accurately reflect the circumstances surrounding your residency or the actions taken by our team. As a community,... we consistently work to maintain the community, address maintenance issues, and respond to resident concerns as they arise. Characterizations suggesting otherwise are not consistent with our understanding of the situation. Like many communities, we occasionally face challenges; however, we continuously invest resources into addressing these concerns and improving the resident experience. We take reports of crime, unauthorized access, litter, and amenity misuse seriously and work diligently to address them when they occur. We wish you success in your future endeavors and appreciate the opportunity we had to serve as your home for the past four years.
