Love my apartment

I love my apartment and the staff at Villas at West Ridge. The maintenance team responds quickly to work orders. The property manager and assistant manager Joy are amazing. All the team has a caring heart to make sure a small issue I had was resolved. The grounds are always keep up and clean. You won’t go wrong with making Villas at West Ridge your new home.

Roach, mold and poor ventilation

This apartment complex is absolutely awful. I moved in with brand-new furniture, but within months, I was dealing with a roach infestation. Despite providing multiple videos and photos—some taken just this week—management continues to deny that there’s a problem. I have seen roaches in my food, on my clean dishes in the dishwasher, and all over my kitchen counters. I can’t leave anything out without it being covered in roaches, and yet management says I don’t have an infestation. The pest… control they’ve sent hasn’t worked at all, and the same ineffective treatment keeps getting repeated. The kitchen smells awful from the roaches, and the mold problem is just as bad. Maintenance wiped the window seal once, but the mold came back quickly, and it's getting worse. I have provided pictures showing the mold’s return. The windows sweat so badly at night that I wake up to puddles of water on the floor—this is unacceptable. After receiving a code violation from the compliance department, management claimed they fixed the issues, but nothing has changed. One of my rooms is constantly freezing, no matter how high I turn up the heat, and maintenance says nothing is wrong with it. Because of this, I had to move my baby out of that room, and we now all sleep in one room, using the other for storage. The management here is incredibly unprofessional, unresponsive, and refuses to address any of the ongoing issues. After giving a construction eviction notice, they had the nerve to ask me for additional rent. This apartment complex is poorly managed, and the living conditions are disgusting. I strongly advise you to find somewhere else to live.

Disappointed.

If the thought of hearing conversations from apartments around you annoys you this won't be the place for you. I didn't find out until getting settled in that I would literally be able to hear the people surrounding my apartments in theirs. It's only been 3 months & I work from home primarily so I hear everything.

The upkeep of the property could be better. I realize other residents have no respect and are filthy as well as don't care. The rodents that are around could be prevented if people… would clean.

As far as the leasing staff so far no issue. I have had a maintenance issue where it took a month to be fixed. The gates when we first moved didn't work but for me it wasn't a huge deal breaker.
