Without a doubt this is the worst apartment I've lived in. The finishes are cheap and it shows. The floors shake as you walk around the apartment, my refrigerator has stopped working twice, I have wasps nest surrounding the exterior and entry ways into the apartment. My AC went out for 2 weeks during the hottest time of the year (inside was over 90 degrees) and the property management refuses to cover rent costs for the 2 weeks I was unable to live in the space. Even with the AC fixed the size… of the unit is inadequate to serve the space. Homeless people are constantly walking through the complex and digging through peoples trash. One would expect a much nicer living experience for the amount of rent they are charging

First of all the reason we are interested in 5fifety5 is that it seems like a warm, slightly upscale area. Upon calling to set up a virtual tour I was greeted with a very snarky individual that had little to no information regarding the units. We agreed on a time that worked best for me the next day but it never took place. I called the office once again to see what the issue was and was informed that there were notes that my tour was supposed to be scheduled between 9-9:30 A.M. I was told by… the agent it was scheduled for 10:00 A.M but was never put into action. I've been hearing the Hubbell name go downhill for awhile and after encountering such problems with organization and people skills I truly believe it. I rescheduled the tour for the same day and yet again they did not call. I was later informed via e-mail that the the virtual tours are not available at thise time *which is understandable* but the complete unorganzation of the matter is concerning and aggravating.
