Nowhere on the website, listing here, or in any of their email conversations do they tell you it's income restricted housing only. They wait until you have scheduled a tour and have taken the time to go there before asking you how much you make, and telling you you don't qualify. It was a waste of time to consider it.

I wouldn't rent there the rent's too high their management is rude your maintenance people don't know how to fix things I don't even think their license to fix things there's bugs I wouldn't want my I wouldn't let my dog or my worst enemy live there do not rent for them it's the worst place to live in Des Moines Iowa

DONT RENT HERE!!!! You have high rent for what you have to deal with .people are rude always fighting and screaming in the parking lot .people hitting your car or door dinging they have no respect here . It’s all section 8 of course people don’t care bc they don’t have to pay for anything . If you want peace and quite this isn’t the place to go always something going on . If you go to the office they say they will handle it ha ha they don’t care . Cameras don’t work so how it is safe place .… Will say my apartment was really nice with the washer and dryer but isn’t worth it if you can’t get any sleep . Read More

I have been at Melbourne Apartments going on 5 years. The location is ideal for shopping and local restaurants. There is a beautiful skyline out-looking my apartment and I love having my own deck to sit outside and relax on. I enjoy that full appliances are included and the modern look of the interior is very luxurious and welcoming. The management is attentive and has recently taken steps to get more community involvement within our apartment complex. I think it is a very good place to live… with some room for improvement such as keeping the grounds clean and enforcing the no smoking rules because a lot of people commune in the hallways/ entryways to smoke and I have filed several complaints to management with no avail.
